What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I looked at this poxy Consent Order that was printed out on economy copier paper with a rubber stamp on it, and i thought feck me that bit of paper has just cost me £300000 yes that''s THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUND!! For some old tart to do a number on me fecking another fella and I''ve just had to sell em my £400k house for £90k and then as the final insult I''ve got to then pay it back £60000 out of the £90k I had in the form of child fecking maintenance.Whilst I''m now having to find £10000 a year rent when I made sure my family was living mortgage free.Who now live with some fella they don''t even know instead of their Dad.
I thought they could of least have printed that mother fecker on some better paper.

All the best
