I joined Wikivorce just over 10 years ago, too nervous to post in the forum or talk in the chatroom. Eventually not bothering to log in much because I didn't know how to start. Dukey messaged me, asking me to try again - which I did; he was so welcoming and supportive that I became a fully fledged member and Wikivorce went on to become one of the most significant parts of my life.
Much of that was down to you Dukey. Rest in peace lovely man.
Sad news indeed, beyond sad.
Carl helped me with sound and considered advice when I really needed it. As others have said he was always willing to offer advice and go beyond the expected to help.
His humour, wit and knowledge made him a cornerstone of the forum which will be missed, he was truly one o this worlds 'good guys'
I have not been on Wiki for sometime but I have just been alerted to this sad news.
Totally shocked and saddened at hearing that Dukey is no longer with us.
Dukey was totally selfless in his commitment to helping others he will be mourned by all who knew him personally and those that knew him virtually through this site of which he has been a pivotal part.
Both his knowledge and humour will be a huge loss.
I was once part of Teamwiki and will always fondly remember the banter that we all shared with him.
RIP Dukey gone but never to be forgotten.
Sincere condolences to Linda and your family and friends.
I have only spoken to Carl via the wikivorce site and found him to be a truly caring compassionate person. Throughout our pathway of life we encounter few people that impact our life, he was one of them.
So sorry to hear your sad news. I have not been on Wiki for a long time but Dukey was there when I joined in 2008 with advice and support. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Rest in Peace Dukey
