What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

I didnt find out about my Xs full infedelity until after the divorce started, had I known while I was in the army she would of gone a long time ago and I would of fought her tooth and nail for the kids, even to the point of getting NSPCC involved, thankfuly with being posted every 2 or three years she never had time to go round a full regiment.Mind you I think she shared trying to drink the bar dry. :-)

Other thing learned was even the supposed to be best mates comrades in arms were really enemies, wouldnt piss down their throats now if there lungs were on fire.

Callum, there are a lot of Army wives up to that lark, its an easy life when your hubby is away a lot and you have so many singlies wanting a bit of fun with no strings attached, at the end of the day its your wife/husband you have to trust, if its handed on a plate of course they will take it!
I lived on an estate outside the wire and you wouldn’t believe what was going on there

Utterings of "£$%&*g $£"t and $£"%$d were quite often told to thier faces, but little did I know X was on the same game god the luaghs they were probably having at my expense

But you dont have to take it. If you are with someone you should be faithful to them. I may be old fashioned but thats the way I think. During my married life I was in situations where I could have done something. But I never becuase I believe in being faithful. Not suggesting that your not or was not at all. Its just my view. F
