Good morning,

My daughter are young women now and decided
that they do not want to see their father
on this special day,their choice.

Appreciate there are loads of fathers who
will also not see their own children today,
and that some of these dads are going through
absolute hell to gain access,to all of you,
i would like to say;
Happy Father''s Day,
and to those of us poor souls, whose dad''s
are no longer with us i send a massive cwtch and my love

Coming up to 6 yrs since i lost my beloved dad so to my dad also
Happy Father''s Day Dad; i miss you so !!!!

I am very grateful that even though it''s not my weekend to be with the kids they are taking me out to a Father''s Day brunch and then to a baseball game. The kids don''t like baseball at all so they''re doing it because they know I do.

I am fortunate to have these great kids who want to spend time with me. Also fortunate that my stbx helped to facilitate and plan for them.

Here is hoping that all the fathers attached to women on this board step up and be the best role models possible for their children!

to all the fathers that are getting to spend time with their children have a lovely day. My stbx hasnt seen his children since christmas eve as he keeps letting them down, so they decided enough is enough. My son had surgery on his arm on thursday and dad hasnt even contacted to see if he is ok. I just hope the ow is worth losing the children over.

to all the fathers that fight for their children i take my hat off to you and i wish my ex was that man.

Like yours my children dont want to see Dad and did not get him present. Part of me feels sorry for him but know that it could have been different if he had really tried with them.

However, they will go and visit my Dad who has always been there for them and given them an example of how people should behave and treat others. He was seriously ill a few months ago and we almost lost him so makes the fact that he is here to enjoy today extra special.

Happy fathers day not just to all the deserving Dads on here but to those who become the role models to our kids when others have let them down.

My son will be seeing his children for a couple of hours today. He is delighted about it as he did not see them at all last year.

Unfortunately this has had to be done through a Court Order and was not offered spontaneously by his ex.

Best wishes to all dads today. My thoughts are with all dads who are unable to see their children.

I haven''t seen my 2 sons in almost 2 years, not for want of trying. I have made every effort to establish contact and have failed at every turn. It''s also my eldest son''s 18th birthday today. A very sad day indeed for me, but I will never give up on them.

Happy father''s day to all the good dads out there.
