I’m currently supporting my son in the process of applying for a divorce.
They separated 6.5 yrs ago, there were several times they discussed divorce where she was to petition, but not carried through. He is however going to petition.
In addition to them having had physical contact a year after the separation which resulted in the conception of a child :blink:What he has admitted is that they have had further physical contact very recently . At no time did they re establish their relationship however will this impact On him petitioning a 5 years apart without consent ?

The answer depends on whether she challenges what he says in the petition... she will have the opportunity to see and comment on the divorce papers.

If it fails or there are doubts he can always go for unreasonable behavior.
