Hello everyone :)
Well, i have applied for two posts locally with the same organisation, the closing date was on Friday, and interviews are some time next week, so i should hopefully hear this week if i have got an interview....i really hope i get one as i am becoming increasingly bored at home all day. My friends husband has been really ill, and i have been supporting her, and last week had loads of research to do for the application forms, but today, i am thinking "what now?". The kids are off school this week, so don''t even have that routine lol.
I am going to apply for some volunteer work if these posts fall through, too much time on my hands leads me to think too much about him, and he dosent deserve that, so i quickly think of something else. I have been walking over the weekend, and today will do my fitness dvd, and maybe a walk also.
I have started the ball rolling with the solicitor re. legal separation, just have some things to hand in to her, will call and make an appointment today.
The organisation i have applied to has a third post advertised, and it closes on friday, so i have an application for that one also, will have it filled in and handed in by thursday.
Well i must go and phone my friend and see how her husband is....going walking with another friend some time this week through the woods...not too sure about that!, lol....incidentally, i lost 1/2 a stone at my slimming club on thurs, got a wee sticker, lol :)
Hugs to all,
Cat xxxx

Hi
I know you posted quite a while ago but I''m new here. My husband/whatever, left me this past Sunday, although I knew it was over September-time. It''s been a short, difficult few months and part of me thinks thank god it didn''t drag out and part of me thinks it is so short sighted of him! We were so happy for like 8 years before. But he made his decision to leave and it didn''t come from nowhere-and seriously, do I want to be with someone who''s contemplated that hard about leaving me?

But anyway, your posts are quite inspirational. I''m struggling right now, but I''m also sure that this is my way out and I''m going to be better for it. I love him, I really do, but I don''t love the man he has become. I don''t think he''s up to the challenge of being married and working with someone else. And I feel like I''ve seen so little of the man I love in the past few months. Anyway, sometimes i surprise myself with how easy things are and I''m overwhelmed by the support I''m getting from my friends and family. They are totally amazing and they are what will get me through this.

But i am in bits as well. Mostly in the mornings and when I''ve been alone for too long. It''s so difficult but at the same time, even although he left me, I have this feeling that it''s best for both of us and I''m going to come out of this stronger and better than before. It''s surprising me, what I can deal with. I thought I would have been totally falling apart all the time. But I think I''m actually going to be ok.

Anyway, thanks for your posts. They are an inspiration and I feel like I could get to where you are
