Is it possible to sign into the main site as invisible? not for any sinister reason, of course. Other forums have this function, and it can be quite useful. I wouldn't suggest it for the chatroom, though.

It might be feasible with a little development to provide an option in your profile to be 'invisible' in the sense that your name would not appear in the who's online list.
And you would not flash as 'online' under your avatar in the forum.

But you would still be able to do everything as normal.

Is this what you meant?

So it is possible...but may be a while before we get round to it...got a big TO DO list.
