I got a private message from a new member called seara120, and having a suspicious nature I did a little research. It seem this person is a scammer of some kind, flooding numerous forums to try and get people to email them. They supplied an email address in the PM.

It may be worth noting by admins.

Thanks

Yeah that one did get me. Barrister''s are in the UK. In the US theyre just lawyers. Sheesh.

Anyway, I''ll PM one of the wiki team and let them know about the problem.

Fortunately there is a limit of 10 PMs a day I believe. I wonder who the other 8 lucky guys are. :woohoo:

This has now been dealt with (no mean feat on my Blackberry - I do miss broadband!)

We do get spammers from time to time, the best way to deal with any unwanted PMs is to forward them to TeamWiki accnt or myself and we can deal with it from there.

As Fiona says, members have a daily limit of 10 pms in any 24 hour period to prevent mass spamming of our members.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. :)
