What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi,

I can not resolve this matter on my own. My sol. is giving me vague answers and I need your help please.
Can any one give me a rough idea to how much lum sum shall I ask for to stop my supposed maintenance with my daugher maitenance which will stop naturally after 5 years when she finishes full time education. Our supposed maintenance is 1500 per monthe and x salary is 3700. My Idea is that I want to sease any deal with him at that time hopping that I will finish retraining and get a convieniant job by that time. Knowing that I am 50 years old already. Can you help me to know what is fair for us to ask for and I will ad this amount on the supposed amount of mony which we will tak out from asset.
All information will be very appreciated.

Many thanks
zozo
