What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Ex pays no CM as he earns less than £5 a week......... well according to CSA....

He has his own company which is 12 months old now.

He is in a band which play regularly 40 gigs so far booked for this year (as we are only in April there will be more booked) and I know he gets on average cash in hand £40/£50 per gig.

Still trying to sort out finances through his solicitor who says all money goes on "expenses" where his gigs are concerned. CSA say cash in hand impossible to prove.

Is there anything I can do??? (she asks knowing the answer will probably be no!)

:(:(
