What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Litigation in person.

I have found by chance ex''s father''s bank statements in our house lying on the floor in our spare bedroom. Father is a retired pensioner but the statements show lots of cash, cheques paid in. I told Court that ex has undeclared income and asked for 3rd party discloure order. I know it is a very difficult order and Judge did not give it to me but he put in a very clever way to ask ex to disclose, unfortunately he refused.

I want to know if I can send the statements to court and if there is any law or cases that allow me to provide such information ?

Shall I include them in the Bundles or shall I give them to Judge during the Final Hearing ? I am afraid Judge may refuse to read/accept during the F.Hearing as it is 3rd party information presented not by the person who owns it. I will think include them in the bundle will be a better choice as Judge has to read them.
Any advice ?
