Hi,

I am self repping and I filed my form E with the court on time. I have been trying to get my stbx to exchange forms but he keeps on making up different excuses as to why he is not ready yet. I knew from the start he had no intention of sending me his as he is in so much debt and is a complusive liar so there is no way he will be telling the truth on his. We have to have our questionaires in by 2nd July so are running out of time to do this. My question is should I just send him mine or should I write a letter in place of the questionaire explaining what has happened. I really don''t want to send him all my bank statements as I don''t trust him having all my account details. What should I do??? Thanks in advance...I would just like to add, he is blaming his solicitor for the delay, I don''t beleive he has a solicitor so I asked him for the solicitors details so that I could contact her and I haven''t heard from him since (this was last week).

Its best for you to do as court ask, if he refuses then he will be accountable to court, you just do as court ask on the dates they gave.

For you bank statements just put a black marker through the account numbers and if questioned just say you don`t trust him with sensitive financial details.

send him your form E.
As Dukey suggests, you can redact your bank statements to cross out the ful bank account number - just leave the last 2 or 4 digits visible so that you can identify the accounts.

When you questionnaire is due file a Qustionaaire asking him to file full financial detials in form E and that you reserve the right to raise further questions once the form E has been filed.
You will also ned to fill in the Form G to say you won''t be able to use the 1st appojntmnt as an FDR becasue he has not filed his form E or provided finacial disclosure.

Thanks for your replies, I had already sent back the Form G saying that I could attend, I done this as soon as I got the notice of first appointment. I will send him my form E ASAP by Recorded Post as there will be no question that it was sent.
