What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Does anyone know what options i have, my soon to be ex-husband claims that he has submitted all of his financial information into his solicitors but my solicitor is getting no response what so ever

We have placed numberous calls emails and fax''s with no luck. They seem to be just ignoring all communications

What are my options to proceed? we have no children together all assets have already been split, yet he still wants to try and get money out of me...which my solicitor has already alughed at

Can i force matters ?

The issue can be forced through court but that is not wise due to costs, your solicitor could suggest that if no progress is made an application could be made to court say in 28 days, other than that you could write the letters yourself to save money.

Rock and a hard place really.
