Are money propery and investments equally shared even if they are only in one persons name? We have been married 12 years. I just want things to be fair and equal.
Also what if they squirrel things in there Mums account?

hi, its quite common for one person to squirrel stuff away, you need a paper trail.
Happened to me, but I didnt have enough proof, except a voice recording of her and her ''bank'' friend.
After 12 years everything is in the pot.
The only thing i can suggest is you get everything documented now as to where everything is, money wise, and see if you can go back and get a paper trail for the past couple of years.
Depending on the amount, it might not be worth pursuing, I talking less than about £5K.
