What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Your liabilities.
I have spent 11k so far and am escalating deeper into debt bankrolling this divorce please list ALL liabilities - credit cards, remaining mortgage, loans, car finance, etc etc

I have been with new partner for 10 months now -

So I offered her: house and equity transfer. Car and 25% of my pension.
I want to know is this fair? If she refuses can I apply for costs?

I don''t think she will accept as she is hell bent on seeing my partners finances(questionnaire asked for new partners wage slips, bank statements, CETV etc etc) I havent provided these and I think she will want to drag this to fdr to try and get judge to order this (she told me this months ago)

Can you break down your outgoings into rent, utilities, CM, loan repayments, etc? Your outgoings far exceed your income, I assume your gf makes an equal contribution to the household outgoings?

Can you detail the loans further? What of that debt was accrued during the marriage, and what has accrued post-separation?

How old is your CETV? If it is more than 12 months old, I suggest you request an up-to-date one. Does the figure quoted include your lump sum that police officers receive upon retirement?
