My barrister at my final hearing advised me that the house particulars in the bundle meant I could purchase a property mortgage free for £113,000 to
£135,000. Unfortunately these were 75% equity properties not the full asking price, which I explained to her. She stated I lacked understanding on the matter. I signed a consent order trusting her advice.
Would this amount to negligence/misrepresentation. The judge relied on her advice when approving the order, stating he hoped I had been given appropriate legal advise.
