Pensions was created by CatDem
I am in the process of separation and eventually divorce. We are about to sell the house but my wife is saying she will not agree with divorce as she does not want me to have a split of her NHS pension which will be due to her in 2021. I feel like things will not be settled between us by then so what happens about my split of her pension if she takes it before we settle, is there any way of freezing it so she cannot take it until a settlement is agreed. What is the process? thanks in advance

Whether she agrees or not, and; whether it is in payment or not; it is a marital asset and in the pot to be split along with everything else.

Post details of ages, incomes, all assets, children and length of marriage plus any cohabitation beforehand for someone to comment on what a split may look like.
