I had a letter through today to confirm the enitlement to a decree. I have been asking my ex about doing a Consent Order, but she says this is not possible unil the decree abslute is applied for, does anyone know if that is true?

She is currently sitting pretty spending from the joint account while I'm struggling.

Hi Pointy

I'm definately no expert but I'm sure I was advised that the Consent Order was applied anytime after the petition. However I have been "advised" so much I think my head will explode!!!! Lol.
I know someone on here will give you the correct answer.

From experience I can confirm that the Consent Order will have to come before the decri absolute as this details to the court what financial and other arrangements have been agreed between you etc. My consent order was dated June of this year and the absolute August. Hope this helps
