What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

hope it all goes well for you. i saw my solicitor today. wife left me and kids to live with someone else. she has not paid a penny towards the debt, i am struggling only got £14 a month left and still need £200 for credit card bill. the sol as said i have to pay £100 a month or she wont do anymore for me. legal aid say i have a disposable income of £893 i only earn £500 plus WTC. things have been messed up by everybody all forms have alterations as the incorrect information as been put on them. apparently the wife leaving, the debt mounting up is my fault i am doing everything i can and i have to pay for the privilege of being screwed. all ex says is she has no money (lies)and gets away with it. i think i would be better if i self rep myself at least i would save some money
