That was for a straightforward "easy" Consent Order with no hearing required.
If you need to have a Consent Order hearing I guess the judge will inform you and a date has to be set. So I imagine that it would take longer and would be dependant on court timetables etc.
It may be that the judge doesn't need to speak to you (even if it is complex) - as long as it seems fair?
the solicitors have asked for the hearing before the judge so I suppose I shall just have to wait to see how long it takes, unless anyone can give me some advise?
