What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Wonder if anyone can help.
Put all the figures into the calculator , and it came out with the soon 2bx paying me maintenance of approx 800 per month on one part and 80 on the other.
The trouble is she is on benefits totalling 2000 per month net and my earnings are 1561 net per month.
We have 3 children living with her in a house soley in my name (worth 140000, mortgage 76000). One debt of 15000 and one of 2500 both in my name.
Her solicitor want a mesher order, yet I am penniless and struggling not to default on the mortgage otherwise a bad credit rating.
I pay the mortgage 413, insurance 35, white goods rental 35 and telephone, internet but this is reducing to a minimal package as just cannot afford it.
Have been to a FDR where she has been told to explain where she spent 8000 per month but her barrister (on legal aid) managed to get the rest of the questions reduced.
Please can someone give me the even smallest of hints at an outcome???
