Lots of complicated things! Directions will be given for the 3rd party to file evidence and give position statements. The specifics depend on why the 3rd party is being joined. Whatever else, the 3rd party needs to be an active participant because if he/she simply ignores the process, he/she can be bound by court rulings and lose the benefit of assets which get transferred to another person as part of the divorce proceedings.
