What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Due in court in 10 days for further review. Stbx has not provided discovery again. His solicitor stating they have only just received request from my solictor ( sent early March!) and as far as they are concerned, he has provided answers previously. He hasn''t!

I am fed up, as I was given a 21 day deadline by court to provide a comprehensive discovery lots receipts etc before xmas. He wasn''t and is ignoring any requests from my solictor.

1. My question is why was i given a deadline by court and he wasn''t? There are so many irregularities on his expenditures compared to mine... Im.totally baffled.. Surely it should work both ways.?

2. Can. we ask court for an order for this info.?
