Can my X husband file in his form E under liabilities a load of plain paper with signatures off his friends saying they have loaned him money and he has to repay them?
does the court really accept this, surely not, otherwise we could all make up stuff and get our parents or friends to sign it saying I owe them money to make my situation look really bad, surely the judge wont accept this as a financial liability.

Please help

Loans from family & friends are known as "soft loans", his friends will have to show proof with cheque number, BK acc trans etc, so no, the judge will not believe him.

Best wishes & good luck x

You can raise questions about these ''loans'' in your questionnaire. I would ask for evidence to show amount of loan ie bank statemen.t, plus written loan agreement and evidence of repayments.
