What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Thanks Wiki''s so much.

And here here Dukey...... Wikivorce, in my opinion is ''an unsung hero'' ( I think that''s right phrase ;-)

Wikivorce and it''s founders and many volunteers need an O.B.E for their fantastic work and help.... just my opinion :-)

To successfully appeal a final hearing judgement is a grand achievement, daunting even for an experienced lawyer.

Very few wiki`s have ever trod this path and won, in fact i can`t actually think of another, the lady Fiona or Lord Mike will know :).

And that there is an example of all that is wrong with our legal system: judges DO make mistakes and these should be able to be rectified without having to overcome the virtual unsurmountable barriers that seem to be in place.

I will HAVE to appeal and have faith that another judge will agree with me that the first judge was wrong....lets just hope they are not part of the same old boys club otherwise I''m buggered before I start...
