Form A - are there any guidance notes as to how to complete. Stuck on Page 2 question 1 - doesn't apply since there are no children of the marriage, unless the last option 'Other' applies.
My application does include one relating to land - why can't they just put property? And does anyone know how to provide details of the mortagees? My stbx has probably changed mortgage providers by now.

Any help in completing this, would be helpful. I thought the new style form A were meant to more user-friendly than the old ones!!!! Thanks for any assistance.

There are guidance notes on this site and also here

www.moneyanddivorce.co.uk/2012/07/how-to...tarting-finance.html

However, these guides relate to the old form, not the recent new one.

A lot will be the same though.

If there are no children involved you just leave that section completely blank

You tick the yes box if there is property involved and put the mortgage detail in the large box.

I also put the property address in there.

If the mortgage is in joint names you can get the information from the lender, if it is just in your EX's name you can try a search through the land registry. It should tell you who has a registered interest , including any mortgage companies. That will tell you who the latest mortgage company is.

It won't tell you the account number though.
