What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

I have to prepare the final bundle for court.
I've read the practice directions 27a but don't fully understand what is being asked of me. Where it asks for the position statement, would that not be the section 25 ? Where do I put in the final proposal? Do I need to submit previous form E and all the evidence ??

Please give me some advice, the hearings next week. The other party won't give me their paperwork !

Is the other party represented?

My understanding is that where the Applicant is not represented but the Respondent is, the bundle would normally fall to the Respondent to prepare. (Though in my case that isn't what happened - I was still given the responsibility as unrepresented Applicant).

I didn't get as far as final hearing (fortunately). I don't know the answer but bumping this for you, and hopefully someone who knows will be along...

I did find some useful videos on youtube about bundle preparation, so you might find something on there?

Good luck
