Hi Wiki''s,

I have been told than with effect from April, WTC will only be paid to people who work over 24 hours not 16.

Does anyone know about this?

Thanks

This is correct, Survive. The new minimum working hours of 24 hours will come into effect from 6th April 2012. But I''m pretty sure that the new increase in working hours is only applicable to couples not single parents.

This link details the changes that will come into effect in April - www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcreditsbudget/index.htm#2

Hi Survive

I too was looking at this and querying it but understood it was for couples not single people?

Fingers crossed, think we''ve enough to deal with at the mo without that as well!!
