Litigation loan was created by Clare39
Does anyone have experience of taking out a Litigation loan - and if so, would you recommend the process. And which firm was used?

It sounds like an obvious question but what would the litigation loan be for.

Depending on your needs there are lots of low cost legal options out there.

I would avoid a loan if you can?

We no longer have legal aid but fee remission is still available and legal aid is still available in some limited circumstances.

Hello there
I used a litigation loan to get through extremely acrimonious proceedings a few years ago. It proved to be a wise gamble on my part, as I did far better than my ex would have liked.

I could send a Pm with the details, as I don't think its permitted to recommend firms on the forum.

Tink x

Further to my previous post.

I would like to add that there are no guarantees of 'outcome' in ANY legal proceedings.

If you do proceed with a loan make sure that it's a reputable organisation and that you fully understand what happens if you are 'successful' and 'unsuccessful'.

Reputable providers will be happy to answer all your questions up front.

And remember there is no such thing as a silly question when it comes to divorce.

Kind Regards
