I am about to agree a Clean Break offer, although it will not keep me in the lifestyle that I had during a 30yr marriage, I can survive.

Nothing can be done until our marital home is sold. What should interim payments until that point cover?

He was a high earner during our marriage and since our separation lost his job and has gone freelance but has declared he is earning 80k. I''ve had part time jobs for the last 17yrs and receive 8k.

If that''s the difference in your earnings, there''ll need to be a huge capital disparity on your favour! No, you''re unlikely to have the standard of living you had during the marriage - people rarely do. Have you taken legal advice on the offer? You really ought to.
