What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Evening Everyone

I will also be affected by this error made by SPVA though to what extent I am yet to find out.

The 128 that Jaynespencer mentioned are those who already have their Pensions in payment, who knows how many there are like myself who have yet to receive their pensions. We have been told that we will recieve revised calculations over the next couple of months.

If you have been or know of anyone who has been or even think they may have been affected please pass this email address on

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

any emails would automatically be forwarded directly to the group mentioned in Jaynespencers post.

Alternatively you can PM me and I will point you in the right direction.

Having gone through divorce, then to find out that your income may be reduced by an error made by SPVA can only be worrying, to be in touch with people that are going through the same situation and know that something is being done can only be a good thing.

Thank you
