What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I know you are under pressure but you cannot expect instant answers on this site! The people who may know the answers to your questions are not always logged on - or even if they are, they may be occupied elsewhere.

The answer to your question is that a £5k CETV is so negligible in pension terms that it is not appropriate to split it. The costs would outweigh the benefits. In fact it is so small that it probably would not be counted - or if it is, it would be offset against equity but the offset value is unlikely to be more than a couple of thousand pounds.
