:(I am age 62 4 years from retirement. Husband is 47. On Divorce is he likely to get awarded any of my pension given the disparity in our ages and the unlikelihood of me having any access to his pension?

You need to post details of incomes, all assets and length of marriage for someone to comment really.

Why do you say you are unlikely to get access to any of his pension?

Because I would be age 81 when he retires if I am lucky to live that long!

He doesn't need to be getting his pension for you to share it.

If some were to be transferred to you then, as you are over 55, you could access it immediately.

If you post values of the pension pot for each of you and how long you have been married (including cohabitation) then someone will be able to comment further regarding pension sharing.
