A thousand pounds!!! I thought I was done with paying silly money to solicitors!
Our Consent Order is for the house to be sold but as we have failed to find a buyer we have agreed I should take it over. This will mean starting paying all over again for it as we had an endowmnet mortgage and he will keep the endowments and other money.
Who pays the cost? Do we share that or do I have to pay as I''m the one keeping it?
Well, he is getting the benefit of the money!
All endowments, cash and equity was to be split 50/50 on sale of the house. I was to receive the cash from him then but his share of the equity is equal to the money due to me and all the endowments.
I would have thought it would cost less than the conveyancing to sell to a stranger. Surely it''s not that complcated to take a name off the deeds!
