The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Thank you for your support, im so sorry to hear about your situation too. My husband has now started saying that he really wants to sortthings out, by that i mean shove it all under the carpet and start afresh. What he fails to remember is that 2/3 weeks ago he threatened me with the police, twice and said all my belongings would be out in the garden....oh and he would make sure one day our daughter would be taken off me to go with him, by saying that im no good and he would bring me down to the lowest level.
Im now feel like im being pushed into a corner, i was actually starting to feel better about myself and very slowly moving on, mainly in my head, now he has blown that all out of proportion again!
Ok, he may be serious, however i feel so different now. Then i have people say becauseweare still in the same house we don''t really know what its like to be away from each other. Ive also had the comment of "well, you do have a daughter together"!
I do wish you a pleasant break away, sounds like you really need it! :(
