What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

Hi all- I''m brand new to the forum but have read lots of really useful information so thanks everyone. I need help with a property question. My STBX co owns a property - no mortgage - with 3 members of her family. When I left her name was on the deeds of the property but since then her name has been taken off the deeds. What I want to know is should this be included in any financial settlement or not? Does the fact that her name was taken off the deeds following our separation count for anything? She is currently going for my jugular and I need to know where I stand.
Thanks guys in advance

Hi Mouse - bit cheeky that really isn''t it.

I old expect (but no expert) that if you can prove that her name was removed after the split it would help.

Really it should be part of the pot as it was there as an asset when you were married.

Good Luck JJx
