Hi all,

I think I know the answer to this but will also ask for your opinions. Ex has decided to reduce further what he gives me every month. He was paying the interest on the monthly mortgage to the joint FMH, also where the children live for part of the time. He has decided without any warning to just stop paying this amount into my bank account.

Is there anything I can do?

I don''t know what the legal position is on this but just want to say you have my sympathy. My ex ''pulled the rug'' on me last January, took money from joint account before freezing it and now doesn''t pay a penny. The stress of it all very nearly tipped me over the edge.

I hope someone on Wiki can advise you.

Who is living in the FMH?

Is he paying CM if children live with you?

If he isn''t living there why was he paying towards the mortgage and why has he stopped?

yes he pays CM. I live here with children - mortgage amount very minimal.

Don''t know why he stopped - to spite me?

There was no agreement in place, only a verbal one
