Sorry I don''t know, but why do you want to leave it as late as possible? Making the offer earlier, wouldn''t that have higher chance of being accepted and avoiding FH?

You can make an offer any time up until going in to the FH.

Are you looking at this from a tactical view?

Surely if you have an offer in mind it is best to make it as early as possible so that it could be considered?

The lower your offer the more time it will take for it to be thought about and the more time there is for discussion.

If you make an offer on the steps of the court and get your hand snatched off wont you be wondering how much less you could have offered and still been accepted?

thank you very much I still have plenty of time in excess of 4 weeks it''s just that I am abroad for two weeks in any case I would have thot that since they r taking me to court they know what they want n I am offering them exactly what they want and it should not take that long or be difficult for them to notice that I am offering them the things that they took me to court for and what they have always wanted

Why not write making your offer and time it so their "thinking time" is while you are away and you can respond to any reply when you get back?
