Paying the Mortgage Installment was created by IvorProblem
Hi, hopefully a relatively simple question.

My ex and I went to court in late summer and had a clean break FDR and a court order was produced. Under Ancillary relief was the statement that I would:

\"pay the current installments due under the mortgage until the sale of the family home and indemnify the Applicant with respect to any arrears thereon.\"

I have paid the mortgage since then. Does \"current installments\" relate to the amount paid? The Applicant appears to be delaying the sale of the family home to their benefit. I presume I can't therefore instruct to pay interest-only?

Thanks in advance

I'd interpret it as whatever the payments were set at at the time the order was made.
