I think you are asking whether your partner is able to delegate responsibility to you to sell a property in their name.

Technically it is possible for a person to have a power of attorney which would give authority to another person. This would have to be drafted by a lawyer though and might not be accepted in certain transactions.

If you can indicate what it is that you want to achieve that would be helpful.

Hello,thatnk you for your response.
I'm just trying to figure out whole possobilities in case of sepatation from my partner and selling our house.
He disagree to separate and because I'm insisting might say:"Its your idea to separate,so do it yourself!".That is why I was asking is there any document which will allowed me to sell the house from his behalf.Anyways,he don't want to separate, how I said before, and might think out something else to pull time back (((.
Many thanks.

I see, that's a little clearer.

You refer to your partner - does this mean you are not married?

If this is the case, is the property held in joint names?

If the property is in joint names, you can apply for an order for sale of the property. It can be complicated if your partner does not co-operate.
