What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi
mediation did not go well.
Even with mediators guidance he will not budge - he advised him that a judge would look at it for a minimum equal share with myself maybe getting more but he just laughed
We have shared the house-savings-court fees-mediation all 50/50 - but he wont share the pension 50/50!!
His pension is £394,000 - earns £52,000
Mine is £86,000- i earn £18,000
The mediator has sent us away for a return visit - but i cant afford £100 per hour and he knows that.
But I have to see this through
Fingers crossed
