Thanks, it's good to get feed back. I bet it didn't cost anything like £95k which was the combined total of H & W legal costs quoted by one poster recently and I don't think they even got as far as the final hearing.
They are not alone fiano my cost to date is 43.5 k and sbex has been also paying his mothers sols to take us both to court ( yes unbelievable)SO HE must of paid about 70k to 80k and we have not touch the ancillary relief yet apart from first hearing to years ago when his mother intervined and lied for him.
As i said many times before wish i found wiki site in the begining.I always thought why cant they just sit us around the table with sols to fight it out.
Mind you having said that he would not go to mediation and i really tried so maybe collaborative route would not have worked either.
Well hope it makes some of you feel bit better about your costs so far.
It all depends on your own situation ,however if your child is ill you don,t get a vet ,you get a doctor.
It is not about hurting anybody ,but getting the best representation that you can .
hi to you
ex would only agree to collab route, because he wanted divorce,
I have had to sit pretty for 8yrs to get my result.
But thats ok , result is good one
sorry to hear your tale , the same as my own .
ex full of lies and playing games.
divorce is not a nice route ,but if it dose happen ,best to get the expert in [where children are involved ] than to feel -hit on later.
maybe that way ,everybody can move on
