Consent Order - How do I submit to the Court? was created by Frenchconnection
Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I've read through alot of threads on the topic and am still a little confused....

I have my Nisi and the family home has been sold. We have both gone into rented for now (to chain-break and get house sold quickly). Joint debts have been paid off, the joint account has been closed and we have split the remaining proceeds (not a great deal of money) 50/50. We earn around the same amount, and future earning potential is similar. We have 50/50 care of the children so my ex is simply paying me an amount to cover half of childminding fees plus expenses like dinner money, fees for activities, uniforms, etc which is going into a totally seperate account along with Child benefit so I can keep track of the \"fairness\" of this amount.

I simply therefore want to submit a consent order to the court that says we have no future claim on each other, including no claim on pensions. I have a sample wording for this, but how do I actually submit it to the court? What forms do I need to complete? Do we still need to do full financial disclosure? Now I have my Nisi I want to get this done as soon as possible so there is no delay when I become eligible to apply for the Absolute.

Anyone done this themselves? Or should I go to one of these online companies?

In outline :

1. You prepare the draft order and complete your half of statement of Information, form M1.
2. Send these documents to your ex who should approve the terms of the draft order and endorse his consent on it, and will complete the other half of the form M1.
3. When this is done, submit draft order to Court with your consent endorsed on the draft, and the completed form M1, plus the fee.

I'm in a very similar situation.

Could you let me know where you got the Consent Order from.

I've seen web sites that advertise them but I'm not sure how good they are.
