Quick summery: After 6 yrs of marriage I found out that my husband was not only cheating on me but was also living with one woman and in relationship with multiple others. Due to my occupation I have to be abroad during longer time periods, that's why he got away with it for so long. Either way I'm filling out the D8 form now and I am a bit uncertain about the wording in the Particulars (13). I would be grateful if any of you have any comments on it;
The adultery has taken place with multiple women during the entire marriage and is still continuing.
With woman A the adultery started around and about the date of the marriage, 15th of November 2002, and was conducted in London (Elephand and Castle as well as Aldgate).
With woman B, the adultery started around and about December 2006 and was conducted in London (Peckham)
With woman C the adultery started around and about January 2008 and was conducted in London
All three women were in a relationship with the respondent in the summer of 2008, at which time the adultery became known to the petitioner.
In addition numerous accounts of adultery have occurred in Brighton (2003), Manchester (2004 - 2008), Stockholm (2003), Copenhagen (2006), Barcelona (2005), Brussels (2006) and Paris (2003).
The respondent has admitted to the above on July 30th, 2008.
You want to petition for divorce on the grounds of adultery.
As far as the courts are concerned, a single incident of adultery admitted by the respondent is sufficient to get ' the ball rolling '.
To my knowledge you CAN quote all of the incidents above, but it is not necessary.
You may indeed think that the world should know about this, but those are your personal feelings and they do not come into divorce proceedings - sorry to be so blunt about it.
It may be better if you toned your petition down, especially since adultery has to have taken place during the past six months for it to be valid as a grounds for divorce.
In one word : everything that happened years ago does not count ( as far as the court is concerned - what it makes you feel like, I can only begin to imagine )
