What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Pete :)Cheers

that has put a smile on my face lol I couldnt have put it better than that myself, thats what i thought id pay for her Sol to shaft me, Ex's Sol is pretty sneaky to say the least!!

Glad i checked now,I will offer to go to neutral mediation (and of course pay half)

(the worse part it would more worse shaft my children, I can understand but the little ones wont)
Fingers crossed she dont back down for what was agreed at Xmas

Hi Will,

I'd make sure you put in writing that you are more than willing for a round the table discussion to sort out Children and finances and more than willing to pay half, but feel the best way to get this is via mediation so both parties can benefit from a neutral 3rd party.

If she says 'No' (again seek this in writing) it won't look too good for her if it progresses to Court ..........

Take care

WR

PS - not too keen on the new single with BEP btw
