What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I'm so sorry it didn't go well for you....
I still don't understand how they can be so horrible...
It's the same for me my H is a high earner and recently said he would try and do what he could for my daughter and I, but i don't know if I can believe him...
Please keep us updated with what happens...

Hi- not sure where you get that mediation can only request the last 3 months statements. I'm a family mediator and I always ask for the last 12 months financial statments. You can't get a proper picture of what's happening otherwise. I'd reattack on that one.
