What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

I would just be interested to know peoples experience of funding cases in family proceedings.

Could people please let me know whether they had to pay fees during Ancillary Relief and divorce up front, whether they got legal aid but MOST importantly has anyone got legal representation during proceedings for nothing on a no win no fee basis despite it being a small money divorce and them being in employment?
