As LIP, my requests for additional documentary evidence often falls on deaf ears with the other side''s lawyer. However, when they request stuff outside of court ordered Directions, I get a strongly worded letter to respond asap!

if i choose not to respond, could they force me to provide infomation that has not been ordered by the court?

It depends what the court has ordered and what information they are seeking.

If you have has a FDA hearing where the judge approved questionnaires you should respond to the questions approved by the judge. However, if your response was deficient, you might have been served with a schedule of deficiencies which requires to you answer the question/s property or more thoroughly.

As a case progresses you each have a duty of continuing disclosure so that any significant changes can be taken into account.
