9 years ago I was an active member on here (Whyme41) The help, support and guidance I received changed my life and made going through a divorce with 2 teenage children so much easier. Wikivorce had a chat room then and it was through the chatroom that we all cried, laughed and supported each other. It was also through the chatroom that I met lots of lovely amazing people, some of them only known by their usernames, (Dukey, Ruby Tuesday, Rosie, Tetley,hadenoughnow, to name a few) there was a also an AJ.
9 years ago today on chat I agreed to meet AJ. We married in 2013 and life is fantastic. We were both pretty miserable going through our divorces but to all of you out there it does get easier and there is another life out there and we are living proof. Thank you to Carl who chaperoned that first meeting by phone and to Linda who was my "if you don't like him go to the loo text me and I'll call pretending to be the babysitter saying you have to come home" I don't think I can repeat Carl's advice!! Rosie lived and breathed my emotions in the early days knowing exactly what I was going through. AJ still has a naughty step, the dog and bone, and the same sense of humour and we have 9 years of wonderful times and many more to come. xx

I was initially apprehensive about posting on a forum as I'm quite a private person but the knowledge and speedy reply received meant I was able to get the information I needed without the need to go into any great detail. I would recommend the site to anyone who's going through separation or divorce as a means of gleaning worthwhile information while meeting like minded people. The site was a great find and many congratulations need to go to the forum organisers for their dedication and honesty.

I was victim of domestic violence. For a couple of years I couldn't be myself. I had to heal my being, before looking into practical things. When I started to feel myself again, I had the urge of getting divorced, end it all for once, but I didn't know what to do. I was lucky that the perpetrator was incarcerated, but I didn't know what do do, there was no one around to help in any way. Then I heard of Wikivorce and all started to make more sense. I found support, kind words and a direction to get my divorce. I don't have words to express how grateful I feel. I am divorced now. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to speak to Carl today and having spoken to a few solicitors - not all are like him and the way they explain everything to you. He was very understanding and helped me explain the law jargons, he has excellent customer service and I just wish all solicitors are like him. The issue was regarding my sisters case and I was lucky I got through to him.

The service he gave was amazing and for the time I spoke him, I can't thank him enough for the advise and information he gave me. He was so knowledgeable and I have to say he is a asset to your team.

The service your team give us is truly is A one and I hope this information is shared with the Government departments so they know what great job you all do, to help ordinary citizens like myself and family.
