Hi,

Looking for something to do?

I have been a born again life long learner for some time. At school I was never that interested :)

I find it helps to get your mind of your troubles sometimes.

I think we learn all the time - we dont always need structured courses to learn new things ;)

For a lot of us here, just getting through each day is an achievement - and Im sure there are many who find themselves thinking about a change of career, or starting again after being a stay-at-home parent for years.

There are quite a few Government schemes that will provide funding to help you on your way with a new course.

Courses dont need to be academic either - its great fun trying out something creative too :)

I did a nightschool course ept 08to Feb 09 which led (quite unexpectedly)to me taking a year's sabbatical from work and going to uni for a year. A great experience and confidence boost and improved my job prospects too!
